What It Means to Be a Great Teacher

Education is the most important part in our life. The education we receive largely depends on a teacher. Everyone has a favorite teacher. Sometimes, our best memories of childhood are connected with a great teacher, who inspired and changed our life. What It Means to Be a Great Teacher.In my opinion it means.ü  To be kind. She/he should be a gentle, chivalrous, and benevolent person. Students should love him/her, and when they love him (her), they will like the subject. Then they will respect him, do the homework, and have good results.
ü  To be patient and friendly. I think Patience is a virtue and a must as a teacher. Teachers who get upset easily, or yell at pupils constantly, are usually those who pupils try to avoid. To my point of view a friendly teacher succeeds in developing relation between his/her students.
ü  Consult parents .Try to include parents in the educational .Be polite and calm when dealing with parents.
ü  Constantly seek new subject knowledge and share this with your pupils.
ü  Make the subject you teach interesting. Explain the lessons in an easy manner. Good teachers make it easy to understand complicated things. Use examples, models and coloured pictures and Photographs. Teach in illustrations that your pupils can relate to.
ü  Be on time and organized. Come to school on time and get to each of your classes on time. Turn in your homework and other class projects on time.
In the end it must be mentioned that there are a lot of things that make a great teacher, like a good education, respecting the pupils and so on. From my point of view successful teachers are they, who do their best that the pupils love their subject, understand it and use it in their daily life. If it is needed the teacher must teach the same thing different times in different ways to make sure they understand it.If my reader finds something to add, I’ll be glad to read it.
